be part of a

national movement

On one big weekend, Aussies choose to reuse

Picture
Garage Sale Trail generates high profile media that is changing the way people think about waste and helping them understand the role they can play in reducing it.

One garage sale on its own doesn't make much of a difference but when 400,000 + people get involved, a momentum is built that councils can capitalise on.

With 140 councils representing over 40% of the population and a national media campaign with a cumulative reach of over 18 million, Garage Sale Trail has grown to become a truly national people powered reuse movement.

Garage Sale Trail is a fantastic source of content that is widely shared on social media by the community, local government and the media.  In 2019 the campaign reached a cumulative audience of 3 million through social media alone.
