More than a day of garage sales

Now in its ninth year, its time to make Garage Sale Trail bigger and better for councils.

Garage Sale Trail is now a 12 month program and new developments include:

  • One big day of garage sales becomes a weekend – the 3 month campaign now culminates in a weekend of garage sales on October 20 and 21. Impacts increase, there’s an alternative day in the event of bad weather and a second day for the enthusiasts

  • Now a 12 month waste education campaign –member councils will now receive a range of waste education assets to enable waste messaging for a full twelve months of the year

  • Professional development & networking opportunities –membership entitles councils to participate in online masterclasses with thought leaders from local government, community building and behaviour change as well as e a part of forums with peers from around the country.
